Why do I have a page about space on this blog? In short, space is awesome. It is inherently interesting, mysterious, magical, profound. It instills in us a sense of wonder and awe. It simultaneously gives us much needed perspective and deep humility (space is infinite, and has been around for at least 14 billion years and will be here long after you are dust, you and your problems aren’t that important), while also making us feel like we are a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. It is also ubiquitous. We merely need to look up at the sky to see the horizon, the sun, the moon or the stars and let the mind wonder.
