Vitamin B6

“Inadequate vitamin B6 has been implicated in sleep disturbances. For example, a 2022 study showed that people with the highest levels of vitamin B6 were most likely to get eight hours of sleep per night. In contrast, those with the lowest levels were 29 percent more likely to get between five and seven hours of sleep per night, and 42 percent more likely to get less than five hours of sleep per night. And in a 2021 study, supplementing with high-dose vitamin B6 (one hundred milligrams) daily resulted in participants getting about forty minutes of extra sleep per night.” – Dr. Sarah. Ballantyne, Nutrivore, p. 132

Vitamin B6 supplementation (100 milligrams) has also been suggested in studies to reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms. See Nutrivore, p.134
